It also turned out to be a little less winter themed and able to be used for more woodland and cabin pics than I had expected too! I packed this kit full of awesome textures on the papers and TONS of adorable cute woodland critters, as well as some fancy deer as well! Truly can be used in so many different ways! Speed Scrap

Please join us on the A-Manda Creation Facebook Page for a speed scrap start a 2pm CST on Thursday the 19th! Katy from my CT will be hosting! It's a super fun way to get a great scrap page made! If you have never done a speed scrap, they are highly addicting! Every 10 minutes you get a new instruction and you create you page using those instructions. Then everyone posts their pages and it's super fun to look through and see all of the different variations that come from the same exact instructions! The only rule is that you need to use an A-Manda Creation kit! I am hoping to make this a more frequent thing on the facebook page! I hope you can join us! I will pick a favorite (or a few!) to feature on the blog!

CT update and Let's Skate BB day 6

I just thought I would give an update on the CT call...it is closed now, and I have over 35 applications to go through! I am excited and nervous all at the same time! I am THRILLED that so many of you would like the opportunity to be on my CT. Because of the number of applicants and the number I can take, I don't want to rush through looking at everything. And if you are on facebook you have seen some sneak peeks of my son's 6th birthday party which is this Saturday. Things get a little hectic around party time in my house, I love to throw a really fun and over the top birthday party for my kids...so not that I mind the hectic, I love to do it, and to see his exictement over everything makes every second of it worth it! BUT it does take up all of my time, so I need to get past the party before I will really have the chance I want to look at everything. On top of that, I have come down with shingles...I am extremely grateful that the case I have is very mild compared to what it could be!! Though that is the case, even my mild case is painful, itchy and uncomfortable! I am currently taking 18 pills a day! On top of that my youngest son got an ear infection. Took him to the dr on saturday and started antibiotics. The difference in him from Sunday morning to Sunday afternoon was astonishing! He was a different kid so I assumed the medicie was working. Well the past 3 days have been nothing but moodiness, constant screaming and crying all day long...and it has taken it's toll on me! So I took him back to the dr today and turns out that the medicine has done nothing, ear infection has gotten worse and we have been bumped up to level 2 antibiotics...which cause more stomach upset that level 1 (which was causing lots of stomach upset for my little guy!) So I am just praying that these work, he can start getting some relief so he can stop screaming and crying and be my happy guy again! So needless to say there is A LOT going on here at the moment..and it usually isn't this crazy, but at this moment it is and I hate to leave everyone hanging with the CT decision, because I really do want to get it finalized, add the new members and get back to making kits...but life is calling and I hope you understand! I also want to mention that once the layout CT is picked I will be having an administrative call! I will be looking for a few ladies to stricty be enablers in forums, no layouts required, and 2 hybrid artists...so there will be more opportunities to work with me and get free kits! Keep an eye out! Thanks for reading :)

Hi everyone! Sorry I have been MIA the past week, I am sure you have all been just as busy with the holidays as I was. I completely enjoyed our Christmas this year, and have been enjoying a week of getting the house back to "normal" organizing and completing some home projects while the hubby has had the week off. We have done some fun things, like our trip to Lego Land today, and movie night and just enjoyed being together as a family this week. It hasn't left much time for the blog or "work" but I do have a new kit in the works that is almost finished, and I am itching to get back to designing and have some fun kits in mind coming up soon! Hi everyone! I have a great new printable to show you today! It's a muffin tin advent calendar! I saw these a few years ago but done with traditional scrapbook supplies. I just never made one becuase I thought it was a ton of work to make 24 different covers, and they would probably get ruined! But this year I knew I was going to do it, but do it with digital supplies! And it couldn't be simpler! You need a 24 count mini muffin tin, some printable magnet paper (I found mine at walmart, but have seen it at the office supply store too) and this printable from my store! Simply print the designs right onto the magnet paper, don't worry it's made for going through your printer, then trim the circles, and tehy stick right to the muffin tin! You can tehn fill each opening with your favorite candy to help count down the days to Christmas! I used candy kisses, and I even made some sticker bottoms to go on them that match the tin. And the next 5 people that order the muffin tin project will get the kiss bottoms for FREE! Why only the next 5 when it says 10 people and you are just hearing about it? Well it was posted on facebook, then it went out in my newsletter and now it's getting on the blog! So if you only check the blog you might be missing out! Be sure to follow me on facebook and sign up for the newsletter so you don't miss a thing!

I have an adorable kit to introduce to you today! It's called Gingerbread Lane, and I have been wanting to make this kit for months now! It came out so cute, I just love it! Cookie Exchange goodies and feebie day 8!

So this is the 2nd year in a row I am hosting the "ultimate" cookie exchange! What makes it ultimate? Well there are rules to follow to ensure that everyone gets some fabulous cookies. I am excited, last year was lots of fun and we had 8 participate, but word must have spread at how awesome it was because I have 14 coming this year so far and there is still a week to respond! I offer prizes for silly things like highest baking temperature, most ingredients...and the grand prize is awarded that night to the tastiest cookie as voted on by everyone there! I will be making up certificates as it gets closer, but for now I have the blank cookie stationary, a cookie checklist (to keep track of your guest list and cookie varieties) and return address labels to match so the outside of your envelope looks as good as the invite itself! Check out my Etsy shop to pick up these cute cookie exchange printables! You can see the blank piece of paper...and how I filled it in for my invite this year :)

The cookie checklist, I mean you have to keep track of who is coming, why shouldn't it be on a fun piece of paper to enjoy as your organize??

And last but not least, some personalized return address labels for the outside of your invite!

Thanksgiving Handprint Keepsake and brag book day 7

I have an awesome new printable in the store. I just love how this came out!! We made ours this morning and I just love it to death! I know this is going to be something I cherish for years to come! All you have to do is paint your childs palm and thumb brown, and each finger a different color for the feathers and then stamp it on the left side of this printable. If they are old enough have them draw feet, a beak and gobble and an eye and sign their name with the date. You can see the ones my little guys made this morning. My big guy wrote his own name, and my little guy...well I am lucky I was able to get such a good handprint, so I did the rest :) The background page is sized 8 x 10 so it's perfect for framing, so you can put it out year after year. The download comes with one sized 8 x 10 to be printed at your favorite photo finished, and 1 on an 8.5 x 11 sheet to print out on your home printer (it still prints 8 x 10 for framing, you just have to trim the excess off) This is available in my store for just $2...and you can print it out year after year and make them to see how your child has grown over the years :) I hope you love it as much as I do!
