SoShelli Birthday Challenge

I created some 1st Birthday invitations for a friend of mine whose daughter is turning 1 in August. She showed me a pictuere of the plate and decorations that are going to be the theme of the party and I used that to help me design the card. Here is a picture of the party decorations, plates, napkins and such:

And here is the invitation I designed for her. She had some specific things she wanted me to keep in mind. It needed to be 5 X 7, hold a photo, and use the cupcake stamp from the crazy for cupcakes set. Here it is!

I used Melon Mambo, Lavendar Lace, Elegant Eggplant and Pretty in Pink for the colors. Doesn't that picture fit it all perfectly!!!

Circle Circus

Circle Circus is my new stamp set from the new catalog. I am planning on getting some more new goodies, especially from the upcoming Holiday Mini! Because Stampin Up went back to 1 catalog a year, they went to 3 mini catalogs, each about 40 pages...yes 40 pages! They each run 4 months so there will always be a new mini catalog with new goodies. Just wait until you see this one, I want just about everything in it!

Prize Basket

Here is my new Door prize basket! I am going to fill it with lots of little goodies to give away at classes and events. I used the new in color polka dot ribbons, rich razzelberry, melon mambo and bermuda bay. I got the basket at Michaels and I just used a large needle I had and wove the ribbon right along with the basket weaves. I folded it around the top edge and hot glued it down on the inside. When the weaving was finished I wrapped bermuda bay ribbon around the outside edge and hot glued it, and used melon mambo ribbon on the inside edge to cover the raw edges of the woven ribbon. You could do this with nearly any basket or ribbon and have a custom basket for anything you need!

I'm back!

I have been stamping since my last post! I am just not good at finding more time to get what I have stamped up here on the blog for you to see! So again I am going to try and be more consistant and I have 30 new cards for you to see over the next few weeks. I will start with the most recent stampin class I held which was Quick Cards. It was a very successful class so I think I will do this one again! Everyone was done with thier 10 cards in about an hour! I created 5 cards that each stamper made that night, and then I created 3 more card samples using the same layout to show how you can just change the stamps and colors and get a completely different card, but still ahve it be a quick one! If you create another card from one of these designs, please send me a picture and I will post it here!
