Digital Scrapbooking

More Scrapbooking! I have been having hte best time with digital scrapbooking. If you haven't tried it you really should! I could go on forever about the benefits of digital vs. traditional, but my main reason is I never run out of paper or embellishments! Here are the pages I made from our apple picking trip this year. I wish I knew how to put the pages side by side in blogger, that will be on my list to figure out soon.

Day1

Here is another thing I like to put out each year I haven't updated it this year yet though) I plan to keep the latest 3 years of pictures of Zach (and soon to be baby #2) displayed in this double page layout. I have both pages framed and that keeps them safe and protected and it they are very detailed pages, so they are perfect for having out for display. It's so fun to look back at the first few years of costumes! I have to add last years in, and of course this year, but I will do that before I put it away and have something fun and new to look at when I take it out next year!

Tomorrow is Halloween! Be sure to check back to see what the kiddos are dressed like this year!

Introducing....

Introducing Joshua David
Born Sunday October 18 2009
Time: 2:51pm
Weight: 8lbs. 10 ounces
Length: 20 inchesHere is the proud big brother with his new babyAnd here they are playing already! (Actually Josh was hungry during the photo shoot, and Zach's nose got close enough to eat)

Day 3

I love how this turned out! It is made out of a file folder. I covered it in designer paper and then layered teh different sized paper on the inside. My plan is to have this as an ongoing scrapbook of each Halloween, what my son dressed up like. I will put the year on teh bottom of each tab and then stick a picture of him in his costume on each page. As you get to the bottom there is room for more than one photo, and also room on the back of each tab!

Day 4

These are made using the matchbox die for teh big shot. They open to reveal a pop up eye ball to scare whoever you give them too!

Day 5

This was made with the box #2 die for the big shot. I die cut 2 boxes and instead of closing the lid I attached them back to back and punched the oval through for a handle. It's hard to see because the base is black but there is room for treats in the front and back.

Day 13

This is what I have on the corner of my counter. My mom made me the placemat. I used the spooky spider decor element to decorate a fancy glass jar I found at a local craft store. I love that this is something I can put out year after year! And no it isn't filled with candy...well because I would eat it and it would hold an insane amount of candy! So I filled it with some mini pumpkins that I covered in glitter!

Day 14

Here is a cute sucker cover. This was a make and take made by my upline for our demonstrator meeting we had this past weekend. The cute skeleton is made using the designer lable punch and heart to heart punch for his eyes.

16 days till Halloween

I had hoped to post some Halloween projects evey other day for the entire month to lead up to Halloween. But most of you know I am very close (days away!) from having a baby! So that has kept me a little busier than usual. So instead I have decided to just post every day for the rest of the month some cute Halloween ideas to inspire you to get creative! I hope you enjoy!

Day 16

we had to carve pumpkins a little early this year, just in case. So here is Zach with his pumpkin that he designed (I carved but he told me what shapes to make everything!)

and here are the 2 he painted and put "potato head" pieces on!

Scrapbook Expo Entry

This is 1 of the cards I entered at the Scrapbook Expo this year. I really liked it, the colors stood out and it was a nice easy layout. It didn't win :( But I am glad I entered. I will post my other entry and a link to what cards did win in the next few days.
