Today is the final day of the Funnky Farm brag book! Be sure to get every page cause tomorrow they won't be free anymore. I also wanted to mantion something Very special that is coming up in the next few days. A friend of mine, Michelle from 4 My Babies Scraps, has a son Brady who has autism. He is 4 years old but has not spoken yet. Michelle has told me many times that all she wants to hear is her little boy say mama...and as my little Joshua has started saying mama recently, I realize how amazing it really is and how much I love to hear his little voice speak my name. After meeting with therapists Michelle was told there are some tools and programs available out there that can help Brady communicate, and so there is "Hope for Brady" However these tools are not covered by insurance (ridiculous!) and so a bunch of digital designers have gotten together to make a collab kit to help raise some money for Michelle to get Brady what he needs. Once Brady gets what he needs we will be spreading the love by helping out Katie's (Just So Scrappy) nephew who also has autism, and once we help him we will help another child we personally know affected by this. Please come back the next few days to see the amazing kit, follow our blog train and maybe even pick up the kit! I am so honored to be able to use my skills to help a friend in need. I hope you enjoy the kit, it's a big one...and of course we called it "Hope for Brady" The link to the freebie is at the bottom.

ReplyDeleteThank you for your wonderful freebies. Can't wait to see the autism kit and blog train. What a wonderful cause. SO many people are touched by autism and its spectrum of disorders. Pretty much everybody knows someone affected by it on some level.
