Last slide

The last slide is what Zach's preschool does for "graduation" Each kid takes their turn as their name is called to slide down the slide on the playground for the last time that school year. Their teacher greets them at the end with a little potted flower. They sang a few songs and when it was over got some ice cream. It was really cute...but next year I think it will make me emotional!

4th of July Quick Pages

So I was able to make a few quick pages for the upcoming holiday. I left titles off of them though, becuase I thought they could be used for Memorial Day pictures too...so more verstaile fi you can add your own title to them. Enjoy! Freedom

Here is Josh jumping in his jumparoo! I haven't yet gone back and found Zach's pictures in the jumparoo, but when I come across them, I will swap them out and have his page done quick and easy!

Mother's Day

Here are the Mother's day layouts I did for this year. The left page is the same for each boy, a picture of all 3 of us together, and the right page is me with just 1 boy.

Hot dog!

I only had 1 really great smiling photo of Zach cooking his hot dog on the fire, but it was worth scrapping the moment, so I used another photo where he wasn't smiling, along with a picture of the hot dogs over the fire to start...and then I made it a goal to fill the page with all the fun hot dog images I had. I admit as this was coming together I wasn't really sure about it, but I just LOVE this layout and all the fun elements. I am sure it is a little too bold and bright for must, but hey if you haven't noticed, that's my style!

First food

I have been using the pages I make for Josh's first year, to help me get Zach's first year done as well! For those of you who know Zach, I am sure you will get a kick out of seeing his baby photos! Have you tried digital yet? I made the layout once and each boy is taken care of! Of course the layout is made for you too...if you are interested in any layout you see here on my blog, almost all of them are available as quick pages. I just don't have time to keep up with the quick page posts...for now, but they are still available!

Gingerbread Men

Well I wish I was good enough to coordinate these pages with the current season, but I am hoping that many of you, like me, are getting caught up...and that sometimes means Christmas in June! I think this page came out so bright and fun, which is exactly what I wanted, especially for gingerbread men!

Special Father's Day Gift

So here is hoping that my husband doesn't look at my blog between now and Father's Day! I am pretty sure he doesn't look at it unless I pull it up and say hey look at it...but now that I am posting something I don't want him to see he will probably randomly check it out! Anyway this is his Father's Day gift this year. I thought I would offer it to all of you as well, I won't tell anyone that it was super easy for you to create. You can let your men think you spent hours laying out the template and making it just right! This page is 8 X 10, and comes to you in .png format. All you do is layer your photo underneath, size it and send it to print at your local photo shop for a few $$...Sams prints 8 X 10s for $1.50 around here! Nice huh? I have one that is for a wide photo, and one that is for a tall photo! Each one is just $1.50. I can also do custom words, or create to fit other page sizes.

Photo Collages

You can do more digitally than just scrapbook pages! I created these photo collages in PSE. I was able to customize them to the size and shape of photos I had, rather than buying one of those mats with openings cut out of it. The Family collage I got in 16 X 20 and the boys I got in 11 X 14. They look fabulous hanging up...and I have just exploded with tons of new ideas! I was able to print the 11 X 14 at Sams club for 2.80 each! I am thrilled! My house will always have some amazing photos hanging up now!

Oh I should mention, should you love this idea, and not have the slightest idea how to do it yourself, I would be more than happy the create a layout for you and you can then send it off to be printed at your favorite photo shop.

Sprinkler Fun

There is nothing more fun than running through the sprinkler on a hot day...or as Zach perfers, riding his bike through it!

Last one!

This is the last Easter layout I have, and it doesn't even have to be Easter..it's a great layout if you have a lot of great pictures but aren't sure how to fit them all on the page. This isn't one of my favorites, but I just love all these photos of Zach!

Blueberries

It's that time of year again! To go pick blueberries to last us until next year! We go every year and pick a TON, then I freeze them and we can have blueberries all year round. No they aren't as good frozen as fresh, but they sure are better frozen from the patch! Here is last years picking experience, Zach had more fun rolling around on the ground with my dad than he did actually picking bluberries!

Mark's Paper Company Pages

Here are 2 layouts I created for Mark's Paper Company back in April. I used the Birds Blooms and Bikes kits, I think I have mentioned it before, but I LOVE the texture in her digital kits, you can "feel" the papers as you work with them!
