The BIG 5! Love Bots Brag Book Freebie Day 1

I have been really busy getting ready for my oldest son's BIG 5th birthday party this weekend! I can't believe he is 5, seriously where does the time go? We have to celebrate in style so the there for his birthday this year is Knights and Dragons. I have made quite a few decorations for the party and I will be sharing them over the next few days so you can see some other fun ways to use your digi scrapping supplies. First I'll share the invite, which I was super proud of:

So I was going to wait until closer to Valentine's day, but I just couldn't! I think Valentine's day is my favorite crafty holiday. I love to make all sorts of things with hearts and the pink and red, I just love crafting up Valentine's goodies and I am so in the mood that I figured I would go for it. Plus I am tired of winter so this gives me something else to focus on. So for the next 10 days I'll be giving away a page from my Love Bots kit. Even though the Robots are the stars of this kit, it could easily be used for all of your Valentine's scrapping needs! I have some fun printables that I am finishing up, so keep watching for those to be released in the next few days.

Dimple the Dragon Update

So for those of you following the competition over Dimple the Dragon. I thought I would post a little update for you. It was a tight race the whole time. We check the number of downloads on Wednesday and agreed that no matter where they were at that time, it was the final number...no checking back later! So we checked and the winner by only 23 downloads was....My dragon! Woo hoo...now I have to pick what movie we are going to go see! I certainly didn't expect that it was going to be so close, so congrats dad, lots of people loved your dragon too...and maybe I'll even include him as a bonus in an upcoming kit :) There were times where he had more downloads than I did even, so good competition. Zach's awesome new room, a new way to digi scrap! and day 4 BB

I have been waiting for the day when my son would tell me what kind of bedroom he wanted to have, so that I could go nuts and make it the coolest room ever. His baby room was monkeys and it was pretty cool with a hand painted monkey mural on the wall. Then his little brother arrived and they shared a room so his room had to wait. But we recently moved and now Zach has his own bedroom and it was the first thing we started working on! This has been in the works for about 2 months, we were just waiting to get his new bed and dresser. It's finally finished and so I am sharing! He asked for an outer space room and while I could paint more murals on the wall, I know how time consuming that can be and wanted an easier way. I also knew that Just So Scrappy's "Fly Me to the Moon" kit had to be worked into it somehow. So I started thinking and planning, and decided it would be nice if everything was REMOVABLE! Not that he will change his mind any time soon, but it's nice I don't have to repaint the room when he does to get rid of murals. So I went about creating my own wall clings using my digital kit, Sams Club and contact paper! I think the end result turned out great. He loves his room..we blast off to sleep every night. His room is complete with glow in the dark stars on the ceiling, lava lamps and a really cute matching comforter I found on amazon. I just love how it turned out, I love going in there, he loves it...and I defintely think he has one of the coolest outer space rooms out there!
