Happy Halloween

So here is the adorable little treat I came up for Zach to give out at school and to his friends. I saw a box of rice krispie treats at wal mart, 12 came in a box for just $3.00! I knew I could make something fun with them! So I measured it and made a fun front and back piece, and the great thing was both pieces fit on a 4 X 6 so I just had them printed out at Sams, cut them out and taped them to the rice krispies! I think they came out pretty cute! So today's freebie, since it's Halloween is the front of the rice krispie. You can do the same thing I did, make it into a card...or something else you can dream up! Just remember it's for PERSONAL USE ONLY! FrontBack

Almost the last birthday post

Well This is the remainder of the birthday stuff I made and have to show to you, all except for the Thank you cards, which I will be finishing up this week as well...still picking the perfect picture! The first 2 pictures are of the banner I made, which you didn't get to see ahead of time! I created each letter to spell out happy birthday joshua as a 4 X 6 photo. I had them printed for about 2 bucks...and then attached them together with small strips of paper and brads so it was flexible and moved. I think it came out really cute, next time I will do 5 X 7 instead though, it could have used to be bigger!
The birthday poster hung up, you can kinda tell how big it really was!

The cupcakes in the wrappers, matching sprinkle colors of course!

And one of my favorites, the finished rice krispie treat all wrapped up with curling ribbon and the fun digi print on the front....and the bowl full of them looked really cute too!

So that was the firetruck themed birthday, watch in January to see what I do for the big 5! I already have the theme and cake idea picked out :) Of course I do!

And here is another fun freebie for you today to use on your halloween pages. Thanks for stopping by and using this title for PERSONAL USE ONLY.
You can download it here, only if you promise to keep it to yourself and say thanks :)

Pin the Nose on the Pumpkin

I created this game for my son's preschool class for their Halloween party. We will be playing pin the nose on the pumpkin! I made it 16 X 20 and of course there are noses too. I will get these printed out at Sam's club, cut out the noses and then we will use some poster putty to stick them on for the game. Super fun! This game is now available in my Etsy store for only $2.50, so if you need a last minute game for Halloween go on over and pick it up!

So every year I make a fancy cake for my kids for their birthday, I made a pizza cake for hubby for his 30th but mainly I reserve the special cake making for just my kids birthdays! SO the Big ONE was no exception! To match all his firetruck decorations of course he has to have a firetruck cake too! So you get a sneak peek today before the party! Maybe I'll post a picture of it all smashed up too :) There are just a few more party things to show you, but they probably won't happen until Monday. Enjoy the weekend!

And yes some more birthday fun

So you will just have to visulaize until next week when I have a picture of the final project! Instead of goody bags for this party I am making rice krispie treats. I will wrap one up and tie it with some fun ribbon and then this is the label that will be going on top of it. I know personally I throw away much of the stuff that comes in goody bags, or it gets lost or broken or ends up cluttering up a drawer. So to avoid spending money on things that will porbably be thrown away I figured I would make something yummy. I think I will carry on this tradition from now on too! They will look so cute when done!

Another birthday item

I created a 20 X 30 poster to hang up for his birthday and party and here it is. I just loved how it came out printed, you see it as your designing it and when it's finished but there's nothing like seeing it printed's always better than imagined!

More Birthday Fun!

Sorry I missed yesterday with showing some more birthday items I created! It was the big day! So we spent it celebrating! But his party isn't until Saturday so I do have more to show you. Here are some adorable cupcake wrappers to match his fireman theme. I love how these turned out, they will look so much cuter than just plain cupcake wrappers. And I will be frosting the cupcakes with a swirl of red, yellow and orange frosting to look! Hope you like it!

Count Down to the BIG ONE day 2

Well this is really hard to show you without broadcasting my address all over the internet! Or redoing the sheet of labels with a fake address...but hopefully you get the idea! You saw the invite yesterday, so you know his party is Fireman themed. So I actually was able to create a sheet of return address labels to MATCH the invite! HOW COOL IS THAT! I have wanted to make custom labels FOREVER, but I could never figure out a way...and well here, I did it! I LOVE how these turned out even more than the invites! When is the last timeyou saw something THIS COOL on the outside of a piece of your mail...NEVER I bet! I even put a little yellow fire hydrant on the address label too to cordinate! SO COOL! Ok so I just have to say, there is no easy way to paypal this or offer it other than a complete custom order. So if you would like some fun return address labels I would be happy to custom make them for you, print them and mail them to you. Just contact me to wokr out the details!

Count Down to the BIG ONE!

By BIG ONE, I mean Big 1! Josh will be 1 in just a few days! So I will be sharing what I have created for his big #1 Birthday! Here is the invite. I first created his invite as a 4 X 8 and had it printed at shutterfly, well after days of waiting for it to arrive, it came and was chopped off on the right side. I was so upset. But I didn't have time to remake them and wait for them to be delivered so I changed it up a bit and went with a folded card...I like this even better than the first one! (Oh and the chopped off thing was my fault, I have finally grasped the whole concept of bleed! Took me about a year, but a light bulb finally went off and I will NEVER have these problems again! YAY)
Here is the front of the card, I LOVE it...the big Fire truck Engine #1!!!
The inside of the card with all the details!
